Skyville 8 is a project that was previously known as Benteng 8. It is an upcoming serviced apartment located on the famed street of Old Klang Road in south of Petaling Jaya, sited on the land of an old factory. Skyville 8 is a development that has harboured mixed reviews from the community, with the first being its original name that many made fun of which probably resulted in the change of its name. Secondly, Skyville 8 was supposed to have first been launched in the year 2011. As of the year 2014, Skyville 8 was still being launched with there being no progress on site. This situation understandably made buyers wary of the developer, especially as the owners and developers of the land are the owners of the previous factory building that stood on this parcel of land. Nevertheless, Skyville 8 still attracts much attention with its many different layouts of which many of the units will have views of the Klang River which runs through its back.
