Kelana Jaya is a neighbourhood located within the city of Petaling Jaya comprising sections SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6, and SS7. Despite its central location, not many would wish to make their homes here due to the heavy traffic that lines the main roads of Kelana Jaya during peak hours, making travel a major hassle. Despite high property prices, investment prospects seem low on the ground.
Kelana Jaya has a wealth of recreational facilities. A major attraction in Kelana Jaya is the Kelana Jaya Lake Park in SS7. Next to the park, there is a collection of community recreational facilities such as a public swimming pool and courts for badminton, futsal, hockey, and tennis. Kelana Jaya is also home to many shopping centres including Paradigm Mall. This area has great connectivity with main routes into Kelana Jaya via the Damansara–Puchong Expressway and the Federal Highway, which forms the southern border of the neighbourhood. It’s also home to The Kelana Jaya LRT station, located at SS4.
