About Bangsar South

Properties for Rent in Bangsar South

Bangsar South is an integrated property development project in Kuala Lumpur undertaken by UOA Holdings Berhad. This area is located close to Menara Telekom and the Mid Valley Megamall between Kuala Lumpur city and Petaling Jaya. Other notable landmarks within the vicinity include the Angkasapuri building and the University of Malaya. The projects here feature several modern office towers from mid- to high-end condominiums, as well as retail and commercial spaces.

Bangsar South residents can also enjoy the luxuries of shopping and dining at The Sphere, a place where they can get their daily essentials. There is also another place called The Village which offers food and beverage outlets, a bank and a supermarket as well. Because Bangsar South is often associated with Bangsar, the value of the properties within the area will rise as the property developers are banking on the name ‘Bangsar’ which is synonymous with high-end living and premium real estate.

Located at the entrance of the Federal Highway, Bangsar South was previously known as Kampung Kerinchi in 2005 before it was transformed into an upmarket residential and commercial hub. This mixed development area is now bustling with activities which are targeted at the middle income earners to the high income earners.

Residents living in Bangsar South have no problems getting in and out of their homes. The exit ramp to Mont Kiara and Sri Hartamas is just a few minutes down the road, whereas a trip to the Kuala Lumpur city centre will only take about 10 minutes via the Federal Highway or Jalan Bangsar. There is even an LRT station just outside the area called the Kerinchi LRT station that residents can hop on to get to other parts of KL along the Putra Line.

However, with continuous development and the gradual increase of residents living in Bangsar South, one can only imagine the traffic going in and out of the area becoming more congested. Also during peak hours, it is inevitable that the Federal Highway will get backed up with too many vehicles, which will only add to the ire of the residents.
